As singles, we look forward to the day that we find our life partner. However, the majority of us start looking, courting, and marrying without proper Islamic knowledge and guidance. Taking a preparatory course that helps us navigate pre-marriage will strengthen the likelihood of having a strong and healthy marriage, and lessen the risk of irreconcilable differences and conflict.

As couples, it is important that we seek to understand God’s teachings and try to mold our relationship according to them, even if we have already passed this stage. This is a necessary step to understand what we should be working towards so that we may enhance our current relationship.

As parents, we must equip ourselves with this knowledge to better guide our children through the pre-marriage process, and understand our role throughout it.
