“Becoming Bani Adam: A Discussion on Humanities Evolutionary Ancestry” is a course which based on a long paper written by Ustadha Fatemah Meghji on the topic of human evolution in Twelver-Shii tradition with a focus on exegetical literature i.e. from tafsir. The course will cover questions such as how does a person of faith grapple with evolution in today’s world, and what does Shia scholarship say on the matter in the face of archeological and genetic evidence?
