Course Synopsis:

How should we approach the Qur’an? Are there any rules to abide by? And where are these rules to originate from?

Fortunately, the Qur’an itself guides us to the answers of these questions. There is one fundamental condition to understand the Qur’an: surrender ourselves to the Qur’an. We must approach it with an open mind; a mind willing to accept what it offers to teach us, not one fixated on what the Qur’an ought to be like.

Join us as we delve into the science of Tafsir; where it started from, how it has developed, what rules govern it, and what it takes to become a true mufassir of the book that God swears by.
